Webinar series “AMRetain®” design software – Version 2 | October 2019

Starting October 2019, Tuesdays 10 to 11 am (GMT+2, Luxembourg time)

This webinar is intended for design engineers with a basic knowledge about design of retaining walls, and that interested in using the software "AMRetain®". The webinars are free of charge.

October 22
  • Design of steel sheet piles: main failure mechanisms, soil behaviour, calculation, design methods and verifications.
October 29
  • Introduction to AMRetain: user interface, main features, tips, choice of optimum sheet pile section.
November 5
  • Live AMRetain Design – Case study modelling and results: cantilever wall, anchored wall according to "design approach" 2 of EN 1997 - Part 1.
November 12
  • Additional features of AMRetain – Going further…: Safety factor on soil resistance, stability of anchoring block.
Notes
Each session is independent, but we recommend to attend the 4 for a better understanding.
Registration is a must prior to attending.

You can register yourself below for the 4 sessions. You will receive an e-mail with the link to the online webinar platform that we use ('Skype for Business'). You just need to connect the day of the webinar using your e-mail address. You do not need to have the software installed on your computer, however, we recommend to test your connection to Skype a few days before. In case of problem, please contact us and we will try to figure out a solution: sheetpiling@arcelormittal.com.
