International Conference on Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering 2026

ArcelorMittal Sheet Piling will attend ICSMGE 2026 – International Conference on Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering, taking place 14–19 June 2026 in Vienna.
This major event gathers the global geotechnical community once every four years under the theme: “Geotechnical Challenges in a Changing Environment.”

Daniel Neto will speak on June 16 (afternoon) and present:
“Value engineering creation with steel sheet pile bridge abutments”

Daniel will explain how bridge abutments (representing up to 40–55% of total bridge construction costs) can be optimized using steel sheet piles as a sustainable and cost‑effective alternative to traditional concrete solutions, especially when temporary retaining walls or groundwater conditions are involved.
