Design of concrete capping beams

VLoad® is designed for engineers to create cost-effective concrete capping beams that transfer significant vertical and/or horizontal loads to steel sheet piles. It is called the knife-edge support method. 

It adheres to the German 'Allgemeine Bauartgenehmigung' Z-15.6-235, approved by the Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik (DIBt) and complies with EN 1992 European standards for concrete structure design.

The design method has been developed specifically for the German market, and is exclusively applicable to hot rolled steel sheet piles manufactured by ArcelorMittal. 

However, the design method is based on European design standards and may also be applicable in other countries, subject to local verification by experienced design engineers.
